Robert A. Lyles, Partner

Mr. Lyles founded Starpointe Communities in 1997. Mr. Lyles resides in Arizona and has participated in all aspects of real estate since 1978. Prior to founding Starpointe, he was a partner in Univest Commercial, a commercial real estate brokerage company.


Patricia A. Watts, Partner, C.A.

Ms. Watts co-founded Starpointe Communities in 1997. Prior to founding Starpointe, Ms. Watts, a resident of Vancouver, Canada, was Vice-President/Real Estate Investment for Anthem Properties, Ltd., a Vancouver-based real estate investment, development and management company.


Henry Lu, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Lu is responsible for managing the finance, accounting, and taxation functions at Starpointe, as well as leading the implementation of corporate development initiatives. He has extensive experience in the areas of audit, accounting, taxation, and corporate finance with real estate companies. Henry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada, and is a designated Canadian Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant from the state of Illinois.


Dan Richards, Development Manager

Mr. Richards is responsible for supervision of on-site construction activities, land development and project planning. Dan has experience with various aspects of development including accounting, construction, design, scheduling, and property management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.


Rex Riley, Construction Manager

Mr. Riley is responsible for on-site construction, developing quality construction processes, overseeing all construction personnel, coaching and maintaining relationships with trade contractors and negotiating sub-contracts. Rex has more than twenty-five years of construction experience in the Phoenix market. His depth of knowledge and varied skills make him an ideal leader for the Starpointe construction team.


Kevin Ransil, Partner, Starpointe Multifamily

Mr. Ransil is a licensed Attorney and registered Architect, and brings a multi-faceted depth of knowledge to Starpointe. Kevin spent more than 12 years at Mark Taylor, Inc. as Vice President and Investment Manager, and was responsible for acquisitions and development of new luxury apartment communities. Kevin will lead acquisitions for Starpointe Multifamily, a new division of Starpointe, to aggressively pursue and acquire multi-family assets throughout the Phoenix area.
