10 Acres in Chandler to be developed by Starpointe
Scottsdale, Arizona—Starpointe Communites has acquired 10 acres at the northeast corner of Chandler Blvd. and Rural Rd. This purchase begins the developer's first Chandler project.
The land, which sits at a pivotal corner in Chandler, was purchased for approximately $2.5 million from Schirmer Ball Co. Of the total 20 acres that they owned, Schirmer Ball Co. has retained the other 10 acres for a future mix-use development.
Starpointe plans to develop the land purchased into a 116-unit, 1 & 2 story upscale condominium community named Biagio. Construction will begin in August, with sales following in the first quarter of 2005.
"This project is very important for us," says Robert A. Lyles, Partner at Starpointe. "There is a high demand for the low maintenance, resort lifestyle that our upscale condominium communities offer, but very few choices currently in this part of the valley. We are excited to finally present one of our outstanding communities to homebuyers searching in Chandler."
With a Southwestern-Tuscany integrated architectural theme, Biagio will offer luxury condominium living. Four different floorplans will range in size from 900- 1275 SF, each with an attached garage. Homeowners will also enjoy lavish amenities which include a heated swimming pool and spa, outdoor barbecues, designer clubhouse and fully equipped fitness center. The prices will range from approximately the mid $100,000's to the mid $200,000's.
